A real person reads every message. Write to support@skyfortwo.com and we'll answer within a day or two. You can also send a note from the app under Us > Help > Report a problem.

When you write, tell us your phone (iPhone or Android), the app version (at the bottom of Us > Help), and how you sign in (Apple, Google or email). Please don't send us passwords or payment details; we'll never ask for them.

Getting started

How do I add my partner?

You start on your own: describe your person (their name, city, sleep hours, birthday and light) under Us > Your person, and every feature works from that, in both of your time zones. When something is meant for them, such as an answer, a letter or a glimpse, the app offers Share, so you can send it through the chat app you already use.

Whenever you like, invite them: go to Us > Bring them in and send them your six-letter code (it works for 7 days). When they join with their own account, your two skies become one and what you described about them is replaced by their own profile. If they already have a code from you, they can enter it on the same screen. Send your code only to your partner.

Does Sky for Two know where I am?

No. The app never asks for location permission. You pick your city from a list, and only its time zone and sky are used. You can change it any time under Us > City.

I moved or I'm travelling. How do I change my time zone?

Under Us > City, pick the city you're in now. Your sky, reminders and quiet hours follow it straight away.

Why do I have to be 18?

Sky for Two is a romantic app with private photos and letters, so it's for adults only. At sign-up the app asks Apple or Google for an age signal where available, and otherwise asks you to confirm you're 18 or older.

Notifications and quiet hours

Will Sky for Two wake my person, or me?

Never. Every notification checks the sleep hours of the person it's for. Anything that would arrive while they sleep waits, and comes as one gentle "morning letter" when they wake. Set your sleep hours under Us > Sleep hours. The only exception is a ritual you've marked "wake me for" yourself.

I'm not getting notifications.

  • Check that notifications are allowed for Sky for Two in your phone's Settings.
  • Check the kinds you want are on under Us > Notifications.
  • Check your sleep hours: notifications during them arrive in the morning on purpose.
  • On Android, some phones pause apps to save battery. Allow Sky for Two to run in the background in your battery settings.
  • Sign out and back in to refresh your phone's notification token.

Why does Sky for Two ask for my calendar?

Only so it can add a ritual, call, date or visit to your calendar when you tap "Add to calendar". It writes that one event and never reads your calendar.

Plus

What does Plus add?

The connection is free forever, and so are your memories. Plus adds depth and extras: every themed question deck, more lights and sky themes, unlimited rituals, goals, gift ideas and letters with attachments, full-quality photos and search in the Journal, the 30-day and 12-month views, and the optional AI helpers. The Plus screen in the app shows the current list and prices.

Does one subscription cover both of us?

Yes. One Plus subscription covers both partners. If your partner already pays, the app says "You're covered" and never offers you a purchase.

How does the free trial work?

Where a plan includes a free trial, you won't be charged until it ends, and the app reminds you two days before. Cancel before then in the App Store or Google Play and you won't be charged at all.

I have a new phone. How do I get Plus back?

Sign in with the same account, open the Plus screen, and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account that bought Plus.

How do I cancel Plus or get a refund?

Plus is billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel it with them:

  • iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Sky for Two > Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play > your profile picture > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Sky for Two > Cancel.

Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play under their policies; our refunds page has the steps. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription.

Your data

Can I download everything?

Yes. Under Us > Privacy > Export my data the app makes one zip of your story: a page you can read like a book, your photos and voice notes, and the same content as data files. On iPhone it opens the share sheet so you can save it to Files; on Android it downloads through your browser. The link works for an hour, so save the file straight away.

How do I delete my account?

Under Us > Privacy > Delete my account. It's immediate and can't be undone. If you can't open the app, see Delete your account for the email route.

What happens if one of us leaves?

Either partner can leave instantly under Us > Leave this sky. The shared space becomes read-only for both of you for 30 days, with export available, and is then deleted. The person leaving can also delete everything they wrote right away.

Does Sky for Two use AI?

Only if you ask it to. The AI helpers (Help me say it, the date planner and the monthly letter) are part of Plus and are off by default. Turning them on under Us > AI helpers shows exactly what is sent to Anthropic's Claude, and you can turn them off any time. Nothing you write is sent to an AI otherwise. More in the Privacy Policy.

Who can see what I write?

Only you, and your partner where you share it. Private Journal entries, gift ideas and cool-down notes are yours alone. Answers to the daily question stay hidden until both of you have answered. There are no read receipts and no "last seen". Analytics never include what you wrote. Read the Privacy Policy.

If something feels wrong

If you ever need distance, leaving is instant and you can delete what you wrote. Report anything that worries you under Us > Help > Report a problem. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency number. In the US, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is at 1-800-799-7233 (or text START to 88788), and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a call or text to 988, any hour.
